About Pack 1049

We are a family Cub Scout Pack welcoming boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade from Franklin, Bingham Farms, Beverly Hills, West Bloomfield, Southfield, and other nearby communities.

We meet monthly as a Pack (all grades) from September through April, and dens (scouts in the same grade) will also meet periodically. See our Meetings page for more information. The Cub Scouts go camping in the early fall and late spring, march in Labor Day and Memorial Day parades, race cars and boats in our Pinewood Derby and Rain Gutter Regatta, and more. This group has a ton of fun together!

We share our Charter Organization with Troop 1699 for boys and girls in 6th grade through 12th grade.

In 2022, Pack 1214, which historically operated at West Maple Elementary, merged into Pack 1049, which historically operated at Bingham Farms Elementary. They combined and became based out of Franklin, Michigan, drawing students from both elementaries and the surrounding areas.
