For those who have heard that the Silversides was tugged to Wisconsin for preservation work: the announcements are indicating that the submarine is due back in Michigan this fall. If all goes well, this shouldn't impact our plans for June 2027.
Join Pack 1049 for an incredible opportunity to sleep overnight aboard a famous Gato class World War II submarine, the USS Silversides! The event also includes tours, activities, and a pizza dinner at the museum. Juice, coffee, and donuts will be served the following morning.

Families will need to make the drive across I-96 to Muskegon, Michigan.
The museum is located along the channel between Lake Michigan and Lake Muskegon, just down the road from the Coast Guard facility. The submarine is moored right outside in the channel.

The drive takes 3 hours plus time for meals, fueling, traffic, and pit stops.
